Privacy Policy
Introduction
Last updated October 28, 2026. This update adds sections on information from third-party integrations, Google user data, service providers and data retention.
Connect Space is the operator of Connect.Space. As part of its business, Connect Space gathers personally identifiable information on its website, as well as anonymous data regarding the website and your activities on it. Our Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how we collect and use the information you provide and to help you to make informed decisions when using our site, products, and services.
First, a few things to note before we begin:
- As used below, “we,” “us,” and “our” refers to Connect Space Inc.
- The “Site” refers to connectspace.com, connect.space and their subdomains (including app.connect.space), and any other site on which this Privacy Policy appears.
- This Privacy Policy does not apply to any offline data collection or practices of Connect Space.
Information we collect.
- We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey, or fill out a form.
- When ordering or registering on our site, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, or credit card information.
- After processing your credit card information through our third-party payment processor, we retain none of your private, personally identifiable information contained on that credit card.
Information from third-party integrations.
You may choose to connect your Connect Space account to third-party services, such as Google Sheets, Salesforce or Eventbrite. When you do, we receive the information you authorize that service to share with us, which may include your account email address, access credentials issued by that service, and the contents of the files or records you select. We use this information solely to provide the integration you have enabled. For example, we use a connected spreadsheet to create and update your team's events, venues and news, and to record the sync status of each row in that spreadsheet. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that service's own terms and privacy policy. You may disconnect an integration at any time from the Integrations page of your team settings, after which we will no longer access information from that service.
Google user data.
If you connect Google Sheets, Connect Space requests access to your Google account email address and to the specific spreadsheets you select; we cannot access other files in your Google Drive. We store the access credentials Google provides in encrypted form and delete them when you disconnect. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models. You may also revoke our access at any time from your Google Account settings. Connect Space's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What we use your information for.
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in any of the following ways: * To personalize your experience. Your information helps us to better respond to your individual needs and preferences. * To improve our website. We continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you. * To improve customer service. Your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs. * To process transactions. * Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested. * To administer a contest, promotion, survey, or other site feature. * To send periodic emails. * The email address you provide for order processing may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. * If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.
How we protect your information.
- We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.
- We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers’ database, only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems. They are required to keep the information confidential.
- After a transaction, your private information (credit card information, financial information, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.
Data retention.
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Activity logs for connected spreadsheets are kept for up to 180 days. Records you create in Connect Space, including records created from a connected spreadsheet, remain in your account until you or an administrator of your team delete them. You may ask us to delete your information by contacting us at info@connect.space.
We use cookies.
- Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser (if you allow it) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.
- We use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart, understand and save your preferences for future visits, and compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future. We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our site visitors. These service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf, except to help us conduct and improve our business.
- If you prefer, you can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies via your browser settings. Like most websites, if you turn your cookies off, some of our services may not function properly. However, you can still place orders by contacting customer service in the event that our ordering feature does not work properly without cookie enabling.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
- We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
We use trusted service providers to host and operate our Services, process payments, send email and provide certain features, including features powered by artificial intelligence. For example, when you connect a spreadsheet, we may send its column names and a small sample of its values, with email addresses and phone numbers masked, to an AI service provider to suggest how your columns should be matched. Our service providers may use this information only to perform services on our behalf and may not use it to train their own models.
